Monday Night Futbol

This week we honor one of Louisiana's great coaches, Luis Sabillon, who passed away during the weekend.  Testimonials from former LSA Coaching Director Mark Godwin and DOC of Slidell Youth Soccer Club Ryan Lazaroe reflect on his wonderful life.

In this week's show, we check in with Houma-Terrebonne Soccer Association's Matt Ferguson and St. Charles Soccer's Paul Shelton as to how they are coping with the effects of Hurricane Ida's aftermath.

This week's show recaps the important developments from this weeks Annual General Meeting for the LSA.

We talk about the latest National Team games and the future of high school tournaments.

We take a close look at the USYS National Championships and President's Cup.  What it reveals is interesting.

We go in depth about the Louisiana Fire 05 Girls team that took the US Club Soccer National Title in Denver this week!  We have interviews from many of their players as well as their coach Doug Freeze.

This week's episode looks at how Louisiana did in the Region III tournaments for President's Cup and the National Championships and asks the question "do we have too many clubs to service our population?"
