I am using Voice Memo, the voice recording app in Macbook to record this podcast. But, inorder to get good quality voice recordings, it should be recorded as "loss-less" and therefore, each voice file has more than 100 MB size. 

That  is why, i decided to upgrade from the free 5 GB iCloud plan to the iCloudplus plan. If you are creating podcast using the Apple ecosystem, check out iCloud plus.
