It’s time for a paradigm shift and start looking at the HUGE potential money can bring into our lives. Better yet, it’s time to start looking inside ourselves and realize all the amazing things we can accomplish and contribute to the world IF money is NOT a problem.
Ever had that time in your life when a friend came knocking, she was in such a financial bind that you badly needed to scrimp the last cent out of your pocket. But lo and behold, you just used your last penny in the grocery if only she came to you a few seconds sooner. Let me tell you this: it’s only those who have MORE who are capable of GIVING more. So, stop blocking money from entering your life and start stretching your arms wide so it can overflow.

I have yet to hear of anyone who lost from being persistent but I know a whole lot about those who lost because they gave up just when the race was almost over. With anything in life, be it your marriage, your career, or your personal goals, you need to uphold the spirit of not giving up. Babe Ruth couldn’t have said it any better, “you just can’t beat the person who never gives up.” So, if you want to guarantee your wins, you need to, first, guarantee your commitment and persistence.
The worst thing that can haunt you in your golden years is the regret that comes with the could-have-been. In my previous episode, I encouraged you to play the ‘what if game” positively. Quitting is not a part of it. Declare to yourself and your dreams that there’s no stopping YOU from pursuing your best life because you deserve it. Begin today and never stop until you achieve it because YOU CAN! Persistence always trumps talent.

Throughout the course of life, all good things take time. Just like wine, the longer it’s kept in the cellar, the sweeter it turns out. Things that are done at speed or rushed, often, if not always, result in disaster. This is the lesson I want you to take to heart, mommas. Let me give you a word that can scare the wits out of you - COMMITMENT. We almost, always run away when we hear this, not because it’s an ugly word but because of the work that comes with it. It’s no wonder why when we are presented with the opportunity to make money of our own, we get cynical and so quick to say no. Little did we know, we are not saying no to the opportunity, we are saying no to us. We are saying no to our dreams and to our empowerment.
If there’s one important thing we need to realize about opportunities is the fact that they don’t come quite often. They also don’t come with flashy signs saying “I’m your biggest opportunity to win in life, take me!” That would have been so wonderful, but no. It’s up to us to open our eyes and recognize them before they slip and move on to the next person. And if they are not as blind, as cynical, and commitment-phobic as we are, they’re the ones who hit the home run.
