wisdom and understanding that the Supreme Buddha had about all the

different worlds where we can be reborn. Since we can usually only see

the human and animal world, it’s natural that you may have questions

about animals, like whether they can attain Nibbana or even collect

merit. We’ll learn about that today.

Today we will learn the eighth quality of the supreme Buddha from the

itipiso gatha, his Buddho quality. This quality means that the Supreme

Buddha taught everything that he realized about putting an end to

samsara without holding anything back. Those days in India some teachers

held back parts of their doctrine and only gave them to certain people.

But that’s not how the Supreme Buddha taught. Whatever he could share

that would help people, he shared. Sometime the Supreme Buddha would say

that he taught with an open hand, not a closed fist. So today we’ll

learn about that.

Satta devamanussanam quality. It’s kind of related to the Anuttaro

today’s quality focuses his teaching ability on who he taught. Satta

And manusssa is humans. So this quality means that the Buddha taught

both gods and humans.

the world to find people who are grateful, so today we are going to

practice this quality of being grateful by thinking about how this show

has come to be. It’s a really good example of how we can put the Dhamma

into practice in our daily lives to get the great benefit of the Supreme

Buddhas teachings.

beautiful bodies. We might even be jealous of them sometimes. But the

supreme Buddha had a knowledge of what the whole animal world is like,

not just these amazing part. He saw that there is a lot of suffering in

the animal world too, even more than in the ghost world. So that’s what

we’ll learn about today.
