In this episode, HuMonn of My Life, Reggie, and I talk about one of my most favorite material things in this life: tech/gadgets. Specifically, we recommend tried and tested work from home essentials na hindi lang basta bang for your buck, kundi buy for life talaga. Reggie also surprises me with his knowledge of cameras and photography, and his plans of starting a vlog. Akala ko puro kalokohan lang ang alam ng kainuman kong 'to, pero magaling din nga pala s'yang mambudol.

From binge-worthy sitcoms, to pandemic pets, to working from home - more specifically, to what being US tax professionals is like during the “slack” season - this Buwan Briefly with HuMonn of My Life, JV, took us two hours to record pero parang kulang pa nga. Wala talagang nagpatalo sa kadaldalan kaya sana mag-enjoy kayo, at may mapulot kayo, sa usapan naming ‘to.

And Mars, thank you for unofficially being my first Buwan Briefly guest. Akalain mong pwede pala ‘yon? Love you to the moon, then to Mars, and then back! Mwa mwaps!

In this HuMonns of My Life episode, dadalhin namin kayo ni Jaylord, hindi lang sa Baguio as a friend, kundi pati na rin to all the other places we’ve gone to together and experiences we’ve been through together (even if we are now apart) - pangit o maganda man ‘yan. Sabi nga nila, it’s not the destination but the journey that matters, and I’m glad to have been with Jay every step of the way. Hahaha wow naman, akala mo hindi kami napilitan at nagpaplastikan lang e ‘no?! Charot!

Here’s a glimpse of what goes on when this HuMonn of My Life and I come prepared (or, in this case, not) for an “intelligent” usapan sprinkled with pakawalang tawanan, which is what we would always do, wherever we are - and in this day and age - magkasama man o hindi.

Jezille and I look back on the things we did as high school students, the struggles we went through as workers in Metro Manila (read: trapik), and our pastimes as city girls: watching movies, going on beach trips, and just plain making chika.

It’s been a long time since the last annual daldalan session with my oldest friend, Hannah. This HuMonn of My Life and I have come a long way - together and apart - and I’m grateful to be able to look back at cringe-worthy but worthwhile memories we shared as young and naive children (at heart hahaha). Daldalan na/pa rin!!!
