List of TV shows we discuss:
Siren is the main one on TV right now and Jhen thinks it is done right.
There is an Interracial throuple, the mermaids are NOT cute and Sham has never seen the show

You Me Her is on Audience and Netflix and it portrays one of the worst ways to have a poly relationship in our opinion. This is a pick of both of ours! We think there are SO many red flags

House of Cards is a Netflix series which we obvi don't watch anymore because Kevin Spacey is a predator

Steven Universe is on Cartoon Network and is 100% a Sham pick! He talks about Gem fusion stuff

Masters of Sex was on Showtime and was a scripted series detailing the work of Masters & Johnson's studies of human sexuality

Big Love was the first big show Jhen remembers about non-monogamy on mainstream tv and she is TOTALLY breaking up with Sham because he has never seen it

Swingtown was on CBS back in the day and was set in the 19070's but neither of us has ever seen it - Google picked this one

Sense8 was on Netflix and while Jhen don't really consider it a polyam show, she loved it! The show was cancelled but obvi they need to bring it and the psychic orgies back

We went down the rabbit hole on MTV's Undressed. GREAT SHOW

The BEST Bachelor show is Bachelor in Paradise Flavor of Love is the best dating show ever because it gave us Tiffany Pollard aka New York. Teacha’s Pet is the second best dating show. The girls on that shit were wild and random. Can’t even go into them all. Seeking Sister Wife & Sister Wives both come on TLC Real Sex on HBO was more of a documentary TV series and it was fucking great. we learned a LOT about a lot of things on that late night tv. Skinimax and all. Are You The One is Sham's recommendation. Most recent season was LGBTQ+ so worth a watch TV Shows like Real Sex and even Polyamory etc helped put “alternative” relationships on display which helps normalize our stuff to society and despite how shitty we personally find the relationships and portrayals, it still serves a purpose. Our own reality dating show "The Unicorn" would obviously be better than anything on tv. Trademark. Hashtag. Etc. 2022 is our year! P.S. Schrummafrumma is a word! Thanks! xoxo

We talked about Cheating and Jealousy last week & touched on relationship rules. This week we dive in!

Konshens and Justin Timberlake BOTH took to IG on 12/05/19 (I KNOW so inconsiderate of them to drop this bullshit after episode 3 came out!!!!) to apologise to their respective partners. Konshens talked about all the ways he did his wife dirty & how he lost her. JT apologised for doing...nothing?

Making lasagna for someone who isn't a spouse or family member is cheating. Dems the rules dammit!

Relationship rules don't just have to be sexual and won't just apply to monog & non-monog relationships. They also apply to friendships, etc.

Rules should be more or less equal and shouldn't favour one partner over the other too much

We defined Cheating, Infidelity, Jealousy & the fake word Compersion

Yes, you can cheat on someone even if you are non-monog. Once you violate the rules of the relationship, that is cheating. Eg: your partner says no kissing other people when they are not there and you do it.

Relationship rules apply to both monog and non-monog relationships. Each couple decides what those rules are with some skewing more “normal” and “standard” while others break down certain behaviours etc that they are not comfortable with

We share details about our personal experiences with cheating (Jhen), Jealousy (both of us) and Compersion

Our advice might not work for you but the most important thing to do is COMMUNICATE and do some serious self-reflection. Is this something that you can live with?
