Pastor Megan Kutter closes out 2020 reminding us that our salvation is ours to work out. We can't let others do it for us, and we can't be lazy about it.

We can choose to allow other people and outside circumstances to control how we feel and who we think we are. Or, we can choose to believe what God says and do what He led us to do. This year, Take Back Your Life.

The light came into the darkness. Our dark streets can take on many different forms. Sadness. Loneliness. Mental, emotional, and spiritual distress. But the light cannot be extinguished by the dark.

Stories have great power. And at Christmas, we repeatedly tell an incredible story of truth. The birth of Jesus was full of troubles. But the gift of PEACE He brought made it all worth it.

Jesus told us to love our neighbor. But who is our neighbor? Do they just live next door? Are they the ones I already enjoy being around? Or are there more of them out there?

Jesus tells us that loving our neighbor is on equal ground with loving God. But what does that mean? Where do we start? This week we look at a beginning to loving our neighbor - humbling ourself.
