Pastor Bryan shares a special message titled, “Soon and Very Soon" that stands alone as a marker for Monterey Church as we move forward. The message is Jesus saying to us: "I am coming soon and very soon. Though we cannot predict the exact day or time, we CAN and MUST anticipate when fulfilled prophecies make it imminent, as in immediate."  What should our response be?

In this special Communion service, Pastor Bobby teaches from Psalm 51, a psalm of lament by King David after his transgressions with Bathsheba. As we read, study, and meditate on this Psalm, coming into God's presence with contrition, may He bring bring his powerful, intense, loving, and healing touch.

Pastor Bryan preaches from 1 Corinthians chapter 3. The apostle Paul works to shift the focus in this week's passages away from the teacher to Christ, and away from the teacher to the integrity of the teaching. And why? Because we are all God's temple, being built (and rebuilt) into His glorious image through the ministry of truth that renews the mind, transforms the heart, and makes us into (by ourselves and together) the people in whom His Presence intensely resides.

What is the role of the Holy Spirit in revealing God, His Word, His Will, His Character, and His Love to us? This section focuses on God's wisdom revealed by His Spirit. Once we receive these revelations, we also have the clarity, courage and power that go with them.

Paul expounds on the absurdity of the Gospel to the "wise" and the power of it for the "foolish." We will talk a lot about the irony of something that must be received with such humility having the power to lift us up into Heaven, even now on Earth before the full coming of His Kingdom.

Pastor Bryan begins a new sermon series titled, “Corinthians Are U.S.” teaching and preaching through 1st and 2nd Corinthians and emphasizing between ancient Corinthians and modern Americans. In this first message, "He Is ALL We Need", we learn about why Paul wrote this letter the church in Corinth and how it is relevant to us today. We are reminded of God's goodness, His faithfulness, and His commitment to the Church.

Pastor Bobby teaches from Matthew 25:14-30 from the parable titled, "The Bags of Gold". Bobby will show us from the Scriptures what Jesus meant through this teaching about our life, lifestyle, and livelihood and being faithful (faith-filled) until He returns!

Pastor Bobby Gore takes us through two Parables found in Matthew 25. This week will be “The Parable of the Ten Virgins” and the focus will be about preparing for Jesus’ return and how we, the church, are to act and react through the stewardship of our time, talents, and treasure.

Pastor Bryan preaches the final message of our discipleship series, “The Monterey Way: Under the Covering, Protection and Blessing of God.” We will close with a time of prayer, reflection and Communion.
