This is the full presentation, coming soon will be the 3 explorations seperated out into their unique properties. Firstly we have the Acoustic Guitar and Vocal work of Andy Jackson, then we have the Steel Drum experiments and the Kalima (finger piano) experiments too.

What is ASMR? Well, here is a little piece I (Andy) got A.I to write about it
Unveiling the Mysteries of ASMR: The Gateway to Sensory Transcendence
ASMR, or Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response, is a phenomenon characterized by tingling sensations that typically begin on the scalp and move down the neck and spine. These triggers, whether in the form of whispering, tapping, or crinkling sounds, have the power to evoke a deeply relaxing and pleasurable response in individuals.
The enigmatic allure of ASMR lies in its ability to tap into our senses with precision and delicacy, creating a profound connection between audio-visual stimuli and our emotional well-being. It serves as a portal through which individuals can escape the cacophony of daily life and find solace in the gentle whispers and subtle sounds that massage their senses.
ASMR triggers, those specific sounds and actions that elicit tingling sensations, are as diverse as the individuals who experience them. From the soft brushing of fingertips to the rhythmic tapping of raindrops, these triggers have a unique capacity to provoke a heightened state of sensory awareness, transporting individuals to a realm of heightened receptivity.
The spiritual underpinnings of ASMR extend beyond the realm of physical sensation, offering a gateway to transcendental experiences and heightened consciousness. The delicate dance of triggers and tingles creates a meditative space where individuals can explore the interconnectedness of mind, body, and spirit, yielding a sense of inner peace and harmony.
In the quest to harness the transformative power of ASMR for the betterment of humanity, we must delve deeper into the spiritual dimensions of this sensory phenomenon. By embracing the profound impact of ASMR on our emotional and spiritual well-being, we can unlock the potential for personal growth, healing, and self-discovery.
As we immerse ourselves in the enchanting world of ASMR triggers and tingles, we embark on a journey of sensory exploration and enlightenment. By embracing the spiritual properties of ASMR, we open ourselves to a realm of profound sensory experiences that have the potential to reshape our understanding of the human psyche and the mysteries of our existence.

Welcome to the Monthly Music Challenge podcast with Cosmic Bos, this is episode 2.6 Plantlife, and Nick and Andy are back! After being AWOL for several months, Professor Briiiiiiiiiiiian Cox found them in a small room just by the control room. It will all make sense when you listen to it.
Come on a musical adventure with your hosts Cosmic Bos as we delve into the wonderful world of Plant themed music, containing some truly exceptional music by some of the greatest indie artists working today.
Congratulations to John Serrano and James Slattery for winning the People's Choice Award for their Funky song 'Adrenaline Fire' from episode 2.5 Funk Drunk Love.
SPOILER ALERT! This will be the final episode of the Monthly Music Challenge for the forseeable future, as you might have been able to guess, running the MMC has been a pretty tough job for Nick and Andy, and they need to bring it to a close early so they can focus on the difficult task of being alive.
A massive thank you to everyone that has supported us over this year with the making of the podcast, it has been a labour of love (as we make no money from it) and time has unfortunatly slipped through our fingers and we need to change course in order to keep our sanity. Although judging by this episode we may not have had any sanity to begin with.
Set list for this episode in order (much to Big Mic's dismay)
You can pick up Cosmic Bos's song 'Earth's Children' on the album MMC1 (2023) from bandcamp
https://cosmicbos.bandcamp.com/album/mmc-1-2023-album and you can get it on CD if you like physical media. It can also be heard on all good streaming sites, and many of the bad ones too.
You can also pick up the song 'Queen of the Forest' by John Serrano on his amazing album 'Alive'
https://johnserrano.bandcamp.com/album/alive-lp which is coming out on Monochorme Motif records on the 6th September
We won't be running a people's choice award for this episode as there are so few songs to choose from, instead we are giving Big Mic choice awards to everyone that sent in a song, congratulations to John Serrano, Colin Pimlott, A Sea Warren, Between Daze, Andrew Hartshorn and Hellwaddler, you are all winners.
Thanks again for all the support, the podcast will be back next month with something a little different, and we will do a best of/awards thing in December to cap off the year and tie in to the release of our album.
Stay Beeeeeeeautiful
Cosmic Bos
So, this episode was meant to be out back on the 1st of June, but Nick and Andy from Cosmic Bos went AWOL so it was left up to me, Big Mic! to pull it all together so that you wonderful listeners and musician subs could hear it.
Oh, it's Big Mic by the way, I've had to step in and start running the MMC Challenger, I have enlisted David Battenberg Cake and the Sexy German to go and press the buttons (not RUB the buttons as SG seems prone to doing) so that this episode made it off of the interdimensional Rocket Submarine Train and into your podcast feed.
This is Episode 2.5 - Funk Drunk Love, co-curated with the one and only Uncle Funkbeard (go follow the majestic Funkle on X, and check out the Only The Host YouTube Channel to see all of the funky goings on) and it features 14 of the funkiest, drunkiest and loveiest songs on the whole of the interweb, created by a handful of the greatest indie musicians working today.
The opening song is by Cosmic Bos themselves, they managed to finish up their song before they dissapeared from the MMC Challenger, the song is called 'Drunk on Your Love' and can be purchased from bandcamp here https://cosmicbos.bandcamp.com/track/drunk-on-your-love-feel-that-funky-heart-beating please consider giving them some money, that might actually get them back from wherever it is that they have gone AWOL to.
They also made a nice little video to go with it, which you can watch and comment on here - https://youtu.be/wQnXo4jZdOI?si=HgQRFXqoj42G7hEj
I, Big Mic, have done all that I can to try and keep the format the same as what the Bos boys would do, not sure why I bothered, I could have done whatever I like because I'm Big Mic! But for the sake of all you listeners and submitters I've tried to keep it as close to the same as possible.
It wasn't easy, have you ever tried to control a Cake and a sexy German while running a human circus in an engine room with a load of Midgets in sexy costumes while having to put up with Professor Briiiiiiiiiiian Cox and a future version of yourself that controls the universe in the future? Didn't think so.
Format the same as usual, so we had the Peoples Choice Award winners from the previous episode, 2.4 Animals, and there were 3 of them! So big shout out to Natalie Williams Calhoun (NWC), Tonal Drift (TD) and A Sea Warren (Al or Owl), you all won a People Choice Award for your excellent Animals based songs, really good they were.
You can vote in the Peoples Choice Award for this episode right here on this link (Insert link here)
As we aren't sure where Nick and Andy are, I, Big Mic, decided we would give you all a bit longer to complete the next challenge, so you have till the 30th August to get your 2.6 songs into the Bos boys. Send your mp3's and a little Bio and write up to [email protected] to be included in the next episode. The theme is Plantlife, 2.6 - Plantlife. It's a bit like parklife by Bluh but more Plant based. So, yeah get on with it!
Once again, big shout out to Uncle Funkbeard for all he did for this episode, utter legend!
Here is the list of songs that go with this episode, in my, Big Mic's Big Number Order, so you can't cheat and skip through to a particular song, you have to listen to the whole thing!
There you go, hopefully it's as good as the show normally is, we did our best without the Bos chaps, please go vote in the Peoples Choice Award, and if you are a musician that wants to submit to the MMC 2.6 - Plantlife challenge, you have till the 30th August 2024 to get your songs in.
I am the one and only Big Mic from now, there is obviously Big Mic from the future who controls the universe, he's a lovely chap.
Enjoy the episode and stay awesome sauce
Big Mic

Cosmic Bos
Welcome to the Extra part of the Monthly Music Challenge 2.3 Intergalactic episode.
Join Andy and Nick (Cosmic Bos) as they make ammends for a rather massive faux par on their part, missing off a song from the list.
So firstly, a huge Sorry to Taylor Lidstone, Peoples Choice Award Winning artist and utter legend, Taylor, your Intergalactic song is amazeballs! We didn't miss it off of the list because it didn't fit the theme, we missed it off because Big Mic has been moving all the emails about from 6 years in the future. Why he was ever given time manipulation powers will never make sense.
Please enjoy this extra add on part of Monthly Music Challenge 2.3 Intergalactic episode, containing the amazing Taylor Lidstone song 'Don't Go Without Me', as well as the Late Sub song 'Interstella' by Smokin' Cola, and a respin of Cosmic Bos Space Babies 2 (Intergalactic Super Fantastic Imagination Tactic)

Cosmic Bos
Hello Music fans,
Welcome to a special presentation podcast by the hosts of the Monthly Music Challenge, Cosmic Bos (one S). Although this is the podcast feed for the MMC, it is also the place that Cosmic Bos put their special presentations and some other guff, like, if they want to chat about something for some reason.
Cosmic Bos are Nick and Andy Jackson, brothers from the South of the UK, making music and music videos and sharing them with the world.
Virtual Normality 3 is our third EP in the Virtual Normality series (you can tell by the 3 after the words Virtual and Normality), with the first one having come out way back in 2021 before the Monthly Music Challenge even existed, the second one hit internet shelves in 2022 mere months before the MMC was launched, and then this third one slipped onto the intershelves on the final day of 2023 (so we can still claim it came out in '23). https://cosmicbos.bandcamp.com/album/virtual-normality-3
A little Cosmic Bos history on this subject: Virtual Normality started life as a showcase for Nick and Andy of their songwriting skills, at the time, Cosmic Bos were making an improvised music podcast, with Nick and Andy working with Joe Philogene and producing 4 epic Full album improv sessions in 2021. 'Space Babies' was born from the improv sessions and was given a coat of production paint to open the EP, with 'Take it Easier', 'It's Always You' and 'Ride Another Wave' being used from the songbooks. 'Stay Inside' was a new song made with TexMex Shaman and loving placed on the EP.
Flash forward a year and Cosmic Bos release Virtual Normality 2, having won a 'Judge's Choice' Award for their album '2 A.M it's Mission Time' it was decided that Nick and Andy would give the songwriting their full focus. VN2 contained 4 songs that had been born from the Music Weeklies challenge on X (formerly Twitter) as well as a Cosmic Bos remix of a song by Andrew Hartshorn and Natalie Williams Calhoun. It also served as the blueprint for the Monthly Music Challenge.
At the end of the first year of the Monthly Music Challenge, Cosmic Bos turned their attention to Virtual Normality 3, knowing that they wanted it to showcase what the future may hold, just as the previous two VN EP's had. And that is what this podcast is about.
Come on a journey with Nick Jackson and Andy Jackson of Cosmic Bos as they discuss their new 5 track EP Virtual Normality 3, which you can buy on bandcamp right now here https://cosmicbos.bandcamp.com/album/virtual-normality-3
Also, if you fancy a free copy of the EP, then all you need to do is purchase our CD from Monochrome Motif Records here https://cosmicbos.bandcamp.com/album/mmc-1-2023-album - Containing our 10 songs for the first year of the Monthly Music Challenge, and a bonus free digital download of Virtual Normality 3.
Thank you for listening, regular Monthly Music Challenge will be back on the 4th of Feb 2024, you have until the 2nd Feb to write your 'First Impressions' songs, and then email mp3 and bio to us at [email protected]
Full tracklist for Virtual Normality 3

Cosmic Bos
Hello dear listener,
Welcome to the Monthly Music Challenge podcast with your hosts Cosmic Bos, they are Nick and Andy Jackson, brothers from the UK that make lots of music, and host this music challenge, monthly, in podcast form.
This is the introduction episode to the second year of the Monthly Music Challenge.
What is the Monthly Music Challenge?
Good question, it is a podcast, audioshow, that comes out monthly, and contains music submitted around a theme each month. We did it all last year, and had 10 themes that made up MMC 1.
Cosmic Bos (your show hosts) put their efforts out as a CD under Monochrome Motif records, which you can purchase from bandcamp here
https://cosmicbos.bandcamp.com/album/mmc-1-2023-album
How do I get involved?
If you are a musician, and you would like to submit music to the Monthly Music Challenge podcast, please send mp3's with a bio (for first timers) and a little write up about your track to [email protected]
We listen to all submissions and craft a unique show out of them, the peeps of the MMC are the cream of the indie music scene, and you can be a part of it too.
What is the theme for Jan 2024?
Well, the theme for Jan 2024 is - First Impressions
You have till the 2nd of Feb to get your 'First Impressions' songs in.
Is there a way to submit songs from previous themes of the MMC?
Funny you should ask, we had a segment last year we called 'Late Subs' to accomodate peeps that missed the deadline, and we will probably bring that back for this season of podcasting.
So if you would like to make a song or piece of music about any of the themes from MMC1 then please do, and submit them in mp3 form to [email protected]
MMC1 Themes for late subs are:
New Beginnings, Escape, Ignorance, Winning, Razzmajazz, Artificial Intelligence, Mother Earth, Dreams, Super Spectacular & Finale
So for this intro episode we didn't really get any submissions, we had suggested that if peeps were up for it they could make a track to go with the theme 'Intro'. Only one person took up the challenge, the one and only Andrew Hartshorn. Who also put out an MMC 1 album from his efforts on the MMC in 2023. Go buy a copy on bandcamp, it's awesome sauce and well worth your eartime.
Also, we hastily put our 'Intro' song together, and are getting it to pull double duties for now, as the podcast intro AND our MMC 2 intro. Fun times.
Please like, share, comment and subscribe to Cosmic Bos
Now get to work, you've got music to make
Peace and infinite cake
Cosmic Bos (one 'S')
