It's the time of the year when our boss Matthias Tanzmann joins Dan Drastic on Moon Harbour Radio. This year Matthias is on for a 2 hours set which we recorded at our last Never Ever Sunday Afterhour at Elipamanoke in Leipzig. The set is of course Matthias Tanzmann's trademark Tech House sound, spiked with lots of great classic tracks.

It is almost two years ago since the last Moon Harbour Radio show with the Berlin based duo Luna City Express. About time to invite Marco Resmann and Norman Weber to talk about their recent and upcoming releases. One of the most interesting is their remix for DJ Linus' classic track Who Stole The Soul, which just was released on Get Physical Music. Of course Luna City Express provided one of their highly recommended vinyl only sets in the second hour of the show.

For the 42nd issue of Moon Harbour Radio Dan Drastic invited Cuartero from Spain. Cuartero is well-known for his funk-driven Tech House stompers. His set is also a perfect showcase for his trademark sound.

In the first hour of the show Dan Drastic mixes new tracks by Michael Melchner, Martinez, &Me, Cuartero and Giacomo Trevi. He also introduces tracks from the new Moon Harbour Inhouse Vol.5 Compilation by Zohki & Roozlee, Luna City Express, Matthias Tanzmann, Ekkohaus and himself. Sabb is the man of the Moon Harbour Radio show #41! He just released the “Don't Kill My Vibe” EP on Moon Harbour, together with his friend and DJ colleague Cuartero. He is supplying an exclusive DJ Set that shows his unique style of Tech House, reaching from light summer tunes, driven by vocals, to dark Techno tracks.

In a short Q and A with host Dan Drastic Sabb gives us an interesting insight into the scene in his home town Pristina in Kosovo, he also looks back to his first steps as a producer and DJ and talks about his future projects and - of course - about his own label SK Supreme. For the 40th issue of the Moon Harbour Radio show, host Dan Drastic whips together a very special 2 hours DJ Mix.

But before we dive into this, there are some smashing news to tell: Matthias Tanzmann has finished the new EP “Tilt” which will be released on Vinyl on August 28th and as download on September 4th. It features not only three new tracks by the Moon Harbour label boss himself, but also a remix bei Kris Wadsworth.

Also: Amsterdam Dance Event is just a short way off and the first Moon Harbour Showcases are already confirmed: As there are “Joris Voorn & Matthias Tanzmann present” @ Roest on October 17th, with Joris Voorn, Matthias Tanzmann, Sable Sheep, Italoboyz, Dan Drastic & many others. Also confirmed is a showcase @ Nomads on Saturday, October 19th, with Ekkohaus, Sven Tasnadi, Dan Drastic & Marius Lehnert. Stay tuned for more info to come!

No less than Marco Faraone is starring the Moon Harbour Radio Show #39 - besides Dan Drastic, of course, who is hosting the show as always. Marco is providing Moon Harbour with Dancefloor bombs since almost 3 years now. He recently released his first album “I Will Wait” on his own label Etruria Beat. His “Jambo EP” on Desolat was also a big step for him this summer. In a short Q and A with Dan he talks about his new album, tells us how he started his DJ career and what are his plans for the future.

Issue 37 of the Mooon Harbour Radio Show is all about Ekkohaus. His long awaited album debut “Noschool” was just released on Moon Harbour. In 13 tracks (released on Vinyl (Album Sampler), CD and digital) the Greek explores his signature sound – warm 4/4 beats, involving bass and cute sampling, which leans on a whole lifetime of influence from jazz to funk, hip hop to dub to disco. Though offering plenty of dance floor dynamite along the way, “Noschool” also stands up to home listening or Sunday driving sessions.

In the interview with Moon Harbour Radio host Dan Drastic, Ekkohaus talks about the demanding and exhausting process of producing the album and how he combined Oldschool and Newschool production techniques to create the sound of “Noschool”.

Long overdue: Kabale Und Liebe finally is the guest star in the Moon Harbour Radio Show #35. The first big hit of the Amsterdam-based DJ and Producer - "Mumbling Yeah" - shot up the charts in 2007. Resident Advisor even voted it the "track of the year". With solid hits like "Makake", "Miami Nice", "Una Y Nada" or "Hiphouse" he proved to be much more than just a one-hit wonder. In 2009 Kabale und Liebe and fellow-New Schooler Lauhaus founded SOWESO Records - characteristic deephouse label that has featured artists like Makam, Ray Okpara, Dj W!LD and Johnny D. With his second label We Dig. Music, being more peak time dancefloor orientated, he shows to have a great eye for a various range of music. His first appearance on Moon Harbour Recordings has just been released: a remix of the track “Snip” for the “Panic Room EP” by Dan Drastic & Sven Tasnadi.

Dan Drastic, who also is the host of the Moon Harbour Radio show, was plying him with a lot of questions for this issue. Also Kabale Und Liebe is contributing an awesome DJ set.
