In addition to these, sufferers may endure a wide array of debilitating physical side effects as well, including joint pain, muscle weakness, chronic fatigue, and skin problems, which can severely limit daily functioning. These symptoms often extend far beyond those listed, and can affect almost every system in the body.

Tragically, there is no known cure or effective treatment for PAS, leaving those affected to cope with their condition without adequate medical support or recognition. The lack of understanding from healthcare professionals adds to the devastation, leaving many in a constant battle with a condition that has no clear resolution, robbing them of their quality of life.
