It's been more than two decades since thirteen‑year‑old Daniel Morcombe was abducted and murdered in December of 2003.
That also means that the Daniel Morcombe Foundation, built by Daniel's parents Bruce and Denise, is 20 years old.
To mark the occasion the family is releasing a new 30‑minute documentary, Don’t Waste It: The Daniel Morcombe Story.
Bruce Morcombe told Peter Fegan on 4BC Breakfast, "It's more than a documentary, it does tell the story of Daniel and the family dynamics and the investigation, but it's more than that, it's a story of positivity."
