More Gooder Than Podcast

Another new pair of episodes?  Are the guys getting back together???  Alas, no, my good Home Trees.  But as long as the Grim Reaper keeps taking the wrong people (get it together, bruh, FFS), we’ll keep having a reason to re-une.  In this week’s Goodie Bag we reveal the… spicy… selections for next week’s main ep, and probably talk about some other stuff as well.  So join us as we escape to the ONE place that hasn’t been corrupted by capitalism!

We lost two… er, one of the greats recently.  Straight talk: you know us.  At More Gooder Than, we like to keep abreast of current events.  This week, we rack up a trio of truly titillating attractions starring the incomparable Dolly Parton.  9 to 5, The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, and Rhinestone all get an ogle.  Dolly, you were the best of us.  From the bottoms of our, uh, hearts… thanks for the mammaries.

Time to take a break from the REWINDS

Death comes for us all, Home Trees… the undiscovered country from whose bourn no traveler returns.  So you know what that means:  wacky hijinks!  We’re back with another reunion episode, which you’ll learn all about in this week’s Goodie Bag.  In these trying times, take whatever small slices of joy you can find.  Start by shoving us directly into your earholes!    

Remember, the REWINDS are from years ago! Just trying to get all of the episodes we made on one feed.

We went into this episode hoping for a lighthearted romp through childhood nostalgia. Boy were we wrong! Labyrinth, Return to Oz, and The Dark Crystal might be some of the freakiest movies we’ve ever seen.

Memory points:

-This ep starts our custom of singing during shows

-we find the first instance of the use of the term “Donnie Hot”

-Most importantly, it’s our first time we “whimpered.” IYKYK
