Scripture: Exodus 1-2, Series: Kingdom of Priests, Series Order: 01

The people of Israel had fallen on hard times. They were slaves in Egypt, far from their homeland. Where was God, the One who had promised them a land of their own and enough blessing to share with the whole world? Despite appearances, God was still with them, and God was still at work. And the same is true for us today: even when we cannot see what God is doing, and even when our lives look dark and uncertain, God is at work building His kingdom through people like you and me.

Scripture: Exodus 19:6, Series: Kingdom of Priests, Series Order: 01

Exodus tells us the story of a great God named YHWH and His chosen people, Israel. They were chosen to be a Kingdom of Priests, blessed to be a blessing to the world. That same calling now resides with us, the church, a new kingdom of priests called to bless the world with the knowledge of our great God's power, presence, and faithfulness.

Scripture: Philippians 3:13-14

It is easy to lose focus and to forget about our most important priorities in life. For our church, we want to stay focused on our core values and the mission God has called us to do. Our desire is to share the gospel and make disciples in this community and around the world. How can we stay focused on what really matters?

Scripture: James 2:14-26

Every week, we preach that salvation is by faith alone. But in this passage, James tells us in no uncertain terms that faith without works can not save us. How do we reconcile these seemingly contradictory statements? How do we even approach a passage as challenging as this?

Scripture: Acts 11

Some churches limp along. They keep the doors open, but they don't make a deep and lasting impact on their community or the world. Other churches thrive because they are committed to remaining focused on the timeless truth of gospel and the enduring priority of making disciples.

Scripture: Malachi 2:17-4:6, Series: Where Is The Love?, Series Order: 04

Why do the unrighteous prosper and the righteous suffer with no reward? Malachi's words are as timely today as they were 2400 years ago: Don't be deceived or discouraged by the delay. Live today in light of that day when God's Messenger will set all things right.
