Athena loves traveling, reading, and listening to podcasts born in Florida and now living in California.
She is a serial entrepreneur. Before moving out to California, at the age of 18 she started her first company, Swim Szn. She grew Swim Szn from ground zero up to making $25k in just the 5th month alone all by running Influencer marketing campaigns. A year later Athena decided to sell Swim Szn to pursue her passion for growing other businesses.
She started off her new company, Kavis Management Group (KMG) in January 2018 and quickly began offering her business expertise to clients to facilitate growth within their industries.
Currently, Athena has designed over 50 different websites for clients, founded My Meraki LLC; a CBD company that’s in 55 retailers, and co-founded a new swimsuit company called Cammelly. She is the founder of the podcast Kavis Radio, a business podcast for both men and women to receive tangible business advice.
"Doesn't matter how old you are, young or old, it doesn't matter how much experience you have doing anything…if you want to make the shift to doing something entirely different…even if everyone is telling you not to…I'm telling you, you need to do it…for yourself." - Athena Kavis

Today we are with Nabie Fofanah…or The Speed Doctor. Nabie is insightful, thought provoking and filled with opportunities for amazing conversation! Nabie was born in Sierra-Leone and moved to Guinea at the age of 5. He spent his formative years in New York which led him to finding track at the age of 18. Within a year of running track for the first time, and having one of the slowest times on the team in the 100 meter, he decided he was going to be an Olympian.
Well, his mentality and mindset made that possible. He ran for Guinea in the 2004 Olympics and then again in 2008. By 2013 he becomes known as the #1 speed and muscle toning trainer in the New York area. He has since trained with elite professional Athletes…Chris Paul, Todd Gurley, Patty Mills, Von Miller, Victor Oladipo and Antonio Brown.
His resume is impressive but his character is more impressive. This conversation goes everywhere and it is a lot of fun.
"So the only way to beat that negativity…that's overtaking this person's whole aura is by showing them love… " - Nabie Fofanah

This conversation is with former Olympian Nicole Davis speaks on the importance of believing in yourself in times of stress and uncertainty. She spent 11 years on the USA National Volleyball Team and played professionally in eight different countries in Europe & Asia. She also helped lead her team in back-to-back NCAA Championships at USC in 2002 & 2003. Davis currently works as a coach and expert on high performance and cultural development at Compete to Create, a company co-founded by Pete Carroll and Dr. Mike Gervais. Her vision is to help accelerate the learning of others through her experiences in pursuing her best in her craft and on the world's stage. She is passionate about impacting others and has seen what people are capable of. There is now more science and language around the processes that allow people to really get after it in life and pursue their potential.
"…Everything we have is already within us, and if we can anchor more to the idea that when things don't go as planned that I can adjust, and do work to have great skill at adjusting rather than the incessant need to prepare and to be perfect we will probably perform better, feel more alignment and feel a lot more joy in the experience…." - Nicole Davis

Coach JJ was 65lbs + overweight, smoking 2 packs a day, and working 100+ hours per week. He was drinking too much and did not have any balance in his life.
Then Coach JJ started working with Veteran Life Coach, Lori Anderson, and his entire perspective changed. He lost over 70lbs in 8 months, started eating well, sleeping, and reducing stress - mostly thru MOVEment. His favorite thing to do was RUN. That obviously had huge positive effects on every aspect of his life, changing how he approached life, career, family, and balance.
Currently he is a CLC (Certified Life Coach), pursuing his dream to grow the non-profit, Depression2Extinction, aimed to help those suffering from depression and anxiety disorders. It offers anyone suffering from depression or anxiety a place to connect and begin the holistic approach to dealing with these debilitating disorders.
"I'm a big fan of giving no advice. I share experiences…" Coach JJ
