In this podcast episode I sit down with Pastor Joey Miranda who I hadn't seen in person in over 13 years. He was a mentor to me when I first started going to church back in 2004. He shares his story about how growing up he didn't want anything to do with God or religion based on things he experienced at home & at church. As a teenager he ends up joinin a gang. During this time his parents end up moving into a rival gangs neighborhood which brings danger upon himself & to  his family. He ends up making moves in order to protect his family which end up making enemies out of old friends. Marriage and children soon follow and these changes make him begin to question the path of life that he is on. His old gang ends up catching up to him one day and he knew his death was inevitable. Tune in to hear how God intervened and turned his entire life & purpose around.
