This week Mikey made Jon watch a movie that made him cry. This up-to-date retelling of A Star is Born is a fantastic story of whirlwind romance and massive talent, both from Lead Actor/Director Bradley Cooper and Lead Actress Lady Gaga. You'll leave the movie in tears and will have the oscar winning song stuck in your head for the next week. And it has Sam Elliot, which is just the cherry on top of a well-made sundae. 

Mikey and Jon sat down to watch the much praised "There Will Be Blood" by Paul Thomas Anderson and man...  we were blown away. It's a masterpiece in all aspects. Seriously, watch the movie first and then come back for our thoughts, it's worth every moment you give it. We rant, we rave, we praise. It's a great movie and so easy to discuss. Enjoy,

This week, Mikey and Jon watched Silence of the Lambs, a classic movie that is a masterclass in filmmaking with an unforgettable villain, and an  Anthony Hopkins performance that used only 16 minutes of screen time to steal the entire movie. "It puts the podcast in the queue or else it gets the hose again"
