I've always been honest with my daughter who's eleven about her father being incarcerated. In this episode we discuss having a father in prison Q& A. Remember our children can be effected in this situation and they are part of this journey.

Have you felt like every time that you mentioned your husband or boyfriend is incarcerated their eyes get big, they may stop talking to you texting you or communicating with you. I'm sure we all been there but you know what this is our journey f*** em

We have truly so much to be grateful for!! Being able to afford phone calls, money on the books, travel money for visits. You name it. We have so much to be thankful for. Have a great Thanksgiving. Ladies night out was such a win. Time that was much needed

I think it's normal to build resentment especially going through a situation like this in particular

I have given up on looking for my happiness, my husband makes me happy our relationship makes me happy and I truly believe until he gets home I won't be the same. I now look for the happy moments in the life that I am truly living now which is my reality until he's home

Take this opportunity to figure out what it's gonna take to make you happy whether financially, family, personal growth or whatever that consist of.

I've been at my worst this year. Business, personal & dealing with struggles.
