More Than Macros Ep 38: Creating a well 'Nourish'd' Community with Abbey Cameron

With a tagline of 'What's inside matters' and 'Human Kind. Be Both.' , it was fair to say that from the moment we came across Nourish'd when looking for a meal prep provider to assist with client convenience, we knew this brand was about more than chicken, broccoli and rice. 

Although she wouldn’t necessarily describe herself as such, Nourish'd founder Abbey Cameron is a visionary with an incredible goal that digs deep into the somewhat mystifying role food can play in creating connection, deepening relationships and reminding those that feel isolated within the community that we are all deserving of high quality, nutritious food and the health benefits that come with it. 

Abbey takes us through:

  • The origins of Nourish’d and the decision to leave the corporate world 
  • The explosion of the meal prep market
  • Determining business values and striving to lead with kindness
  • Going beyond gyms and health enthusiasts to reach those most in need
  • Striving to provide both food and human connection to those most isolated

Nourish’d as a brand are clear on their purpose, the change they are trying to elicit and the way in which they are going about it. It’s hard to not get invested in the conversation and leave fired up to start pursuing our own goals just as avidly as Abbey and her team are pursuing theirs.
