Isaac Payne is a champion of small business and community. 

A familiar name to those within the Health and Wellness scene in Vancouver, largely through the establishment of his Strength and Conditioning Facility, the aptly named ‘Pure Payne’, Isaac has always been someone willing to put time and effort into helping others succeed. 

During the midst of the pandemic, Isaac made what would have been an incredibly hard decision to close the doors of his facility and bid farewell to the community he had worked so hard to establish - but not to wallow in any kind of self pity, but rather to focus more time and attention into finding ways to support other small business owners during an incredibly challenging time. 

On the eve of the launch of his newest project ‘Mom and Pop’ an online marketplace dedicated to the promotion of local businesses (and a space MTMM is thrilled to have been accepted to be a part of) we sat down with Isaac to talk through all things in the immediate past, and just what he has in store for the immediate future.
