Pain is something we’ve all felt at some point.
Tweeks, niggles, general stiffness. For the most part, if you’re anything like me, you accept a certain level of discomfort as the ticket for admission when it comes to constantly chasing strength and fitness improvements, via regular high intensity training with heavy weight (relatively, anyway!).
This week on the podcast, Osteopath, weightlifter, and fellow podcaster Dr. Steph Aldridge sits down to take us through all things pain.
From acute to chronic, non specific recurring pain to stress management of external factors (‘Life-Load’), it’s pretty clear that how we interpret pain can have a lot to do with our psychology surrounding injury as much as the physical element itself.
