Whenever the third movie in a film franchise is released, the discussion inevitably turns to which installment of the trilogy is the best.  The More Than Monotobroskis weigh in with their thoughts on some classic trilogies and try and find if there’s a pattern to the quality. Maxwell discovers a time loop.  Evan wishes there was a sequel to The Matrix. Dan hopes you catch his Ocean’s Twelve reference. Peter breaks some eggs. Maxwell discovers a time loop.

To celebrate the 2018 MLB All-Star game, Dan and Peter talk about the slow pace of baseball and what changes they would like to see in order to improve the popularity of the sport.  We’re not sure why they think this counts as a “celebration” either.

Maxwell flexes his NBA knowledge. Dan brings the harsh truth about salad.  Peter gets his hockey moment. Evan must once again apologize, this time to Malcolm Gladwell.

Peter and Evan like those “video game” things, so of course they were keeping tabs on the Electronic Entertainment Expo, or as the cool kids call it, E3.  Spoiler alert: may contain more Super Smash Bros. than the surgeon general recommends.

The More Than Monotomodels take on the abstract concept of fictional characters, their relevance as role models, and what constitutes a hero.  We somehow stumble through it. Maxwell does booze math.
