Water levels in Moremi continue to evolve and remain difficult to predict precisely. Large volumes of water are still moving through the Okavango system, but this does not necessarily mean a dramatic rise everywhere at the same time. At the moment, some roads are becoming more difficult, especially in low and muddy areas, while other sections remain accessible.

It is also possible that the flood will continue spreading into floodplains around Moremi rather than causing major rises in the main channels themselves. Conditions can change quickly from one area to another, so it remains important to stay cautious, ask for recent local updates before travelling, and not underestimate Delta driving conditions this year.
