The path of our discipleship takes us from selfish to selfless. As we progress, we count ourselves "worthy" to suffer for the sake of Christ and even for the sake of our fellow Christians (Acts 5:41​). As trials afflict, we can overcome by embracing the suffering.

The apostle Paul tells us that a disordered desire - any desire that displaces God and subordinates our spiritual pursuits - is idolatry. Long gone are the wooden idols of old. But has our instruction to "place no other gods before me" (Ex 20:3) faded too? Idolatry is alive and well in Babylon!

We are members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. However, we embrace all truths regardless of origin. As Brigham Young stated, we claim all truth whether it's found in "heaven, Earth, or hell." We seek to get "more" out of "Mormonism". MOREmon for short.
