This week we're taking the show to the Eastern Hemisphere, on a journey to New Dehl, India, home of Indian folk metal band Bloodywood, and their debut album Rakshak. Will the band's political message cross language barriers? Is Nu-Metal too limiting of a genre to mix with Folk? And, where will it rank on the Wall of Mosh?
Back into the Florida band retro month we go. This time we're taking a look at Coral Springs' own New Found Glory, and their sophomore album, Catalyst. Or is it their senior album? Who knows? But where will it rank on the Wall of Retro.
Anchor what the hell? The episode didn't post on time again. We made it to episode 50 of something! We might as well just gotten a million subs of YouTube. In honor of this special episode we decided to skip a new album this week for a deep dive into one of the biggest albums of our childhoods, Linkin Park's debut, Hybrid Theory. But, where will it rank on the Wall of Retro?
psst, hey, pretend this was uploaded on the correct date ok thanks. ahem. Back in the 1930's, Maylene "Ma" Barker ran rampant with her Sons, reeking havoc on the city of Ocala, Fl. Bootleggin' and such. Cop killin' and barn burnin'. 75 years later, former Underoath vocalist Dallas Taylor would take this methos and create one of if not the best southern metal bands of the Warped Tour era. This is a review of the 2nd album by Maylene & the Sons of Disaster, and the beginning of Retro Florida Month. Hell yeah brother raise hell praise Dale.
What is this album about? idk. I've got nothing witty for the description this episode. Do you even care to read these? Nah. And Bad Omens didn't care to make an album that was in any way original. So if they don't try, I won't try. Fair 'Nuff.
Where were yew, when yew first heard it? The album by blink-182, was it self titled or untitled, who knows? All we know is that its a quintessential record from the early 00's. But where will it rank on the Wall of Retro?
As It Is misses the simpler times. As do I, I too miss 2003. The better days. But where will it land on the Wall of Mosh?
A review about Senses Fail? It's more likely than you think! Today we take a look back at their debut record, Let It Enfold You. Just don't tell the band Counterparts. Where will it rank on the Wall of Retro?
Korn need no introduction. They're the fathers of Nü-metal, they scat beat box backwards. Jonathan Davis has the same birthday as Cody. And they've just released their 14th studio album, Requiem. Where will it rank on the Wall of Mosh?
We all got those bands that only we know of and everyone else is an idiot for not knowing. We call them hipsters, and this is Brett's hipster album without a doubt. But, where will it rank on the Wall of Retro?
