Good Morning and Good Coffee!  Have you ever met a political big-wig?  Most if not all have met those in local politics, but what about at the State or National level.  I've had the opportunity to see (not meet) three Presidents and walked in a parade beside a Governor, but now it is taking on a much more personal level (no I'm not running for anything), but a man I call a friend is running for office, and that is pretty cool!  Grab your coffee and let's have some fun on the fringe of politics.

Good Morning and Good Coffee!  I'm sure many of you have heard that a new mission to Mars has successfully landed on the Red Planet.  We've had previous missions to Mars taking pictures, testing the soil, and making tracks in the dirt, but what will they find that is different this time?  Well, according to photos that have come through my Facebook feed, it appears that there may be evidence of life or humor millions of miles from Earth!

Good Morning and Good Coffee!  Baby it is still cold outside, and in locations that don't get it this cold except once in a lifetime.  This morning I whine a little bit about the bitter cold this week, but share a learning experience that includes extremely cold temperatures, a power outage, an overloaded generator, a creative electrician, and a new contingency plan.  We need to plan for what is on the edge of normal experiences, and we need to get creative for dealing with the unanticipated.

Good Morning and Good Coffee!  Oh Baby, it cold and snowy outside!!!  What an adventures yesterday with cold temps, blowing snow, poor visibility while driving, frozen pipes, hunkered down animals, crazy ducks, and 3 foot snow drifts!  Grab some HOT coffee today, because it is STILL COLD OUTSIDE!!!

Good morning and good coffee!  Over the years I have had a growing interest in learning and preserving history; however, this morning I had a personal taste of cancel culture, and I thought I would tell you a bit about it.

Good Morning and Good Coffee!  Today I want to share with you something that I taught about in a recent therapy session.  This individual frequently had undesired fights with their spouse and found himself avoiding conversations to keep the peace.  What I taught him and today I share with you is to determine which of three goals a couple has in mind when starting a risky conversation: expressing anger, better understanding each other, or finding the solution to a problem.  If you have this kind of problem with your spouse, this would be a good podcast to listen to with your spouse, just don't blame me if you get into a fight, ok?
