SUNDAY, MARCH 24TH-CIRCUIT OF THE AMERICAS-AUSTIN, TX

Daytona 500 winner William Byron qualified on the pole for NASCAR’s first road course race of the year down in Austin, TX.  And a combination pit strategy and having the strongest car put Byron into victory lane, becoming the first Cup series driver to repeat win this season.  Christopher Bell, Ty Gibbs, Alex Bowman, and Tyler Reddick filled out the top five.

SATURDAY, MARCH 23: KENNEDALE SPEEDWAY PARK-KENNEDALE, TX

With the weather shuffling events around, a fire destroying a press box at another track, transformers exploding taking out the track lights, its been a tough trip for the World of Outlaws down in the Texas/Oklahoma area this season.  And Kennedale was no different.  After fixing the track lights and bringing in some extras, the Outlaws looked to crown a first-time winner on Saturday.  That winner would end up being Carson Macedo who held off David Gravel, and Aaron Reutzel.  Macedo became the 8th different winner in 8 races this year, it was his 36th win, and the 24th different track he has won at.  Donny Schatz stayed out of trouble and finished in 8th.
