If our heart is not set on Christ, we will be disappointed every time. We need to seek Christ's face, not His hand - His presence, not His presents.

The entirety of the Holy Bible demonstrates mankind's depravity & desperate need for a Savior. Christ is the Savior. Let's stop resisting, avoiding, running, making excuses, & trying to do it ourselves. Let's surrender to His salvation.

God does not enjoy sin. If God's Spirit lives in you, your sin grieves Him. That's why He leads us away from sin, removes our taste for sin, & makes us feel bad about our sin. Get in tune with Him. He is your guarantee of eternal life with Christ.
