The winning Feature Story SOUND BITES 2023 entry for MORNING MAGIC! In Iowa, at the Iowa State Fair there is a real contest called "The Husband Calling Competition"-- and it is everything you imagined it would be.  

It looks like our silly antics are paying off... David, Sue and Kendra won FEATURE STORY at last nights Mass Broadcasters Sound Bites Awards. The segment that won was when we explained the hilarious Husband Calling Contest that takes place in Iowa!

David hasn't had a Big Mac or a Junior Bacon Cheeseburger in nearly 30 years so Sue and Kendra thought it would be AMAZING to make him taste test them LIVE ON THE AIR.

This weekend is really the last calm, normal and available one before the holiday hoopla begins! After Black Friday, it will basically be busy for all of us until Christmas!

Is Black Friday Shopping still a thing? It's ONE WEEK from tomorrow... Who are the people that plan out and organize their shopping at 2am???

The "Friends" inspired Central Perk Coffeehouse has opened at 205 Newbury Street, located between Exeter and Fairfield Street and we got to talk with the man who designed it... Glen Coben of Glen & Co Architecture. 

The MAGIC listeners called in and did their best to convince David to make the move!
