During my time in the Navy in the late 60's and early 70's, it was always interesting when waiting for my next orders to the new duty station or ship. When they came, there was no going back... they were orders that must be obeyed. In today's episode I'm sharing some marching orders from 2 Timothy 4:2. Are you ready?

Some things never end right? How many times have you said; "When is it going to stop?" With all the challenges we're facing, it's comforting to me to know that what's important about God and His faithfulness, also never stops. Lamentations 3:22-23 - "Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness."

I love the story of Jesus stilling the storm on the Sea of Galilee. I love the part of the story that while the storm was raging, Jesus was napping. Do you ever struggle thinking that Jesus might be sleeping on the job... that he's clueless as to what's happening around Him? Let's talk about it on today's Morning Manna.

Promises are important right? But the promises of God are amazing. 2 Peter 2:4 tells us that God has given us "exceeding great and precious promises." One of God's promises that is encouraging me today is the one found in 2 Chronicles 7:14 - "If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land." Psalm 86:12 says; "With all my heart I will praise you, O Lord my God. I will give glory to your name forever." Halfheartedness in any area of life is not good and especially in our walk with God.
