They talk about "aging gracefully" and how that's possible. God's Word makes an even bolder statement in Psalm 92:14 when it says of those older saints, that they will continue to bear fruit and be "fresh & flourishing." Thrive throughout your life for Christ!

My challenge to you today is to make a joyful noise to the Lord. Sing for joy to Him today. His response will be more pleasing that any Voice or American Idol judge. He is worthy and you are loved!

My, My, My... how powerful is the message today of Psalm 89. If God be for us... WHO can be against us? Be encouraged as you begin this day, to know that the Father is with you and for you today!

Not only is there one way to salvation, but there is also only one way... the same way to walk in Christ after salvation. If you don't know this one way, you'll struggle in your walk with Christ and miss the freedom and joy of serving Him.

When trouble calls... trouble calls out to the Lord. That's the message of Psalm 86:7 and several other passages. Trouble while challenging, is an opportunity for God to show His strength and power.

Though this is not an unfamiliar verse for most (Acts 20:35), I want to remind us all this morning where the real blessing comes from. It's all about giving, sharing and serving others. Let that be your focus today!

In Psalm 27:4 we read, One thing I have desired of the Lord, that will I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to inquire in His temple. This world is not your home. We're pilgrims on our way home. How is your longing for home today?

I find it increasingly important in today's world, to remind myself of who the real enemy is. Victory necessitates keeping your eye on the target and concentrating your energy there. Not to do so will result in frustration and mental exhaustion.

What a comfort it is to know that when we face fiery trials, Jesus us with us in the midst of it. That's the story of Daniel 3:25. Be encouraged today that you are not alone in the fiery furnace. Jesus is with you!
