Proverbs 17:3 says; “The refining pot is for silver and the furnace for gold, / But the LORD tests the hearts.” I love an old saying I learned in Bible college... "The testing before the blessing." Even in the refining process God wants us to be a blessing and encouragement to others.

Rise and shine today for Jesus. Let you light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven. (Matt. 5:14–16) By calling believers to arise and shine, God is reminding us that we have the ability to shine in this dark world because of His indwelling Spirit.

In today's episode I share a story about my life verse from the Bible, Acts 20:22-24. Moving forward can be challenging at times but moving forward in God's will is what we need to do. Be encouraged today in any "moving forward" situations you're facing.

The word reckon(ing) means to consider or to calculate. Trying to figure out our struggles and challenges can be consuming. Be encouraged by this truth from Romans 8:18 - For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
