before the noise begins,
pause.

Just for a moment —
give yourself the space to arrive.

Let your breath settle naturally.
No forcing.
In… and out.
Even. Quiet. Reliable.
Like the ticking of a clock in a still room.

Begin to gather your attention.
Not sharply — but gently.
Let the mind return from wherever it drifted.
Come back to your center.
Back to this moment.

Today will ask for your attention.
So right now, you train it.
Like adjusting a lens.
Like opening a window.
Clear. Simple.
Direct.

Think of one thing — just one —
that matters most today.
Something that deserves your focus.
Hold it lightly in your awareness.
Let everything else fall to the background.

Take one more breath — slow and grounded.
Feel your feet on the floor.
Your spine tall.
You are awake.
You are clear.
You are ready.
