    CT and T - the new release - out today - from rising star in the New Zealand hip-hop scene Diggy Dupé.
    It's the second single of his forthcoming solo album explores his life as a young Niuean New Zealander growing up with a mother and grandmother addicted to gambling.
    He spoke with RNZ Pacific's Dominic Godfrey about exposing such a personal story.

  • Clark under fire after Covid-19 botch up
    The Health Minister says he relied on assurances from Ministry officials that routine testing of people in managed isolation and quarantine was taking place.
    David Clark has been under fire this week, following the revelation two women were able to leave managed isolation on compassionate grounds, without having a test.
    The pair later tested positive and more than 300 people are now being contact-traced.
    RNZ political editor Jane Patterson asked him why he didn't request an audit to assure him that tests were being carried out, and that protocols were being followed.

  • Woman worried after sharing flight with Covid-19 case
    A woman who arrived in the country on the same flight as a man who now has Covid-19 had to badger health staff before they would test her.
    The man, in his 60s, arrived from Melbourne on 13 June and started showing signs of illness two days later while in managed isolation.
    Former RNZ reporter Alexa Cook is in managed isolation at the Novotel Auckland Airport having arrived from the UK.
    She told RNZ reporter Matthew Theunissen she's worried by the news that she was on a flight with a confirmed Covid-19 case.

  • Quake hits offshore NZ
    As you slept last night a powerful offshore earthquake struck north of New Zealand.
    Felt throughout the North Island and parts of the South island, the magnitude 7.4 jolt struck about ten to one this morning, south of the Kermadec Islands.

  • Travel agent aguishes over laying off staff
    The number of people  looking for work in Taranaki has jumped 25.6 percent since just before the Covid-19 lockdown to total more than 9700 on 5 June - with Māori and people under the age of 30 the worst hit. 
    Tracey Edgecombe has been in the travel business for more than 15 years and the owner operator of House of Travel in New Plymouth for about 18 months.
    She says the decision to lay off half her team is one of the hardest she's ever had to make.
    Taranaki Whanganui reporter Robin Martin asked Edgecombe how Covid-19 has changed her business.
