What if one conversation could change someone’s entire day?
In today’s episode of Morning Salt, Pastor Adam continues the Stay Salty series by exploring Colossians 4:6 and the power of words that are “seasoned with salt.”
Our words have the ability to encourage or discourage, to heal or to hurt, to point people toward Jesus or distract them from Him. Paul reminds us that as followers of Christ, our speech should always be marked by grace, reflecting the kindness, wisdom, and truth of Jesus in every conversation.
Whether you’re talking with family, coworkers, friends, or even interacting online, every conversation is an opportunity to represent Christ well.
Today’s Scripture:
“Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer each person.” -Colossians 4:6 (ESV)
Today’s Salty Thought:
Salty Christians leave conversations better than they found them.
Today’s Challenge:
Before your next important conversation, pause and pray:
“Lord, season my words with Your grace.”
Then intentionally encourage someone today with a kind word, a thoughtful text, a sincere compliment, or by simply listening well. You never know how God may use your words to bring hope to someone who needs it.
If today’s episode encouraged you, would you take a moment to subscribe, leave a review, and share Morning Salt with someone who could use a little encouragement today? Together, we can help more people begin each morning grounded in God’s Word.
Until next time, keep your eyes on Jesus, stay grounded in His Word, and remember…
Stay salty, stay faithful, and season your day with scripture.
