Prayer time is a special time. We are accustomed to a certain “mode” of prayer. Typically quiet - solemn- and maybe that’s why we lose perspective. Prayer - is a battle!

Love. Godly love. Christian love. Love one for another. A desire to be together, taking care of each other, making sure the other of taken care of… this we have Christ and His Church…

Possessions, money, fame, riches - all these things rank high in most hearts of people. But what’s really important? Give thought this time of year of what’s really important to you…

Troubles and problems arise. We have our go-to people we can trust! They help us the best they can. But ultimately, the Lord is our greatest source of Help and He’s there immediately!

Certain people have the gift of gab. They can talk and talk but never seem to say anything. Scripture warns against the good words and fair speeches!

Despite our wavering from the paths God would like for us to follow, He is faithful and true. We changed - the Lord does not. He reminds us of that time and time again.

Adults. Find your children! Grandchildren! This one’s for them (and you!).

Singing in church - to me it’s an essential and powerful portion of church. Songs move us and help us! Don’t underestimate the place for songs!

Knowing the truth and then surrendering to following that truth are two very different mindsets. The world says follow your dreams - and that’s OK - until it goes against the truth!
