David was the “weakest” of them all! So everyone thought... but he was actually the strongest for one reason - he was the Lord’s choice! That’s makes him invincible! God is our strength if we will simply rely on Him for everything!

Emotions! Men seem to have a more difficult time showing them and feel as if they have to surrender their “man card” if they do so! Men (and women) - it’s OK to cry. It’s OK to show grief. It’s OK to show pain. It’s not a sign of weakness...

From the beginning, man and woman has tried to hide from their mistakes! Adam’s and Eve ran from God, tried to hide their nakedness and tried to cover their sin. But God, the one who loves beyond understanding, searched them out to first condemn their actions and pronounce punishment but to also begin reconciliation. He always makes the first move towards us when we are moving away!

Paul was always writing to and concerned about the people. He wants them to know the truth and he wanted them to know the Lord. He had a burden for them. So should we. Let’s seek God for His help today!

We all have weaknesses that when put in front of us, they can overpower us and cause us to sin! We have to rely on the Holy Spirit to help us to overcome them and stay away!

Giving. Many people have different ideas of what that means and what they feel they can give of themselves. The Bible speaks of giving maybe even beyond what we think we can! Christ gave all - maybe we should work in that direction and trust the Lord to provide when we step out in faith and give more abundantly!

Where we begin is not so much as important as where we end! All of us start this life the same. Sinners in need of a Savior! Grace is offered if we will humble ourselves as ask for forgiveness. We can then serve the King with all we have!

We should have a personal and many times private relationship with our Savior and father. Not everything we do has to be announced and in public. A lot of our good deeds should be done with only us and Jesus knowing it. Not everything we do has to be known by everyone around us. Don’t be as the others and do to be seen and heard. Do to be real!

Obstacles, barriers, stumbling blocks. We all have things in the way that keep us from accomplishing our goals. But what is the Lord’s goal for us? What does He have in mind and what is His way to overcome them? Lets’s follow Him and watch Him bring them down!

Some people more than others have found themselves in a dark place in life and wondered if they would find their way back. Discussing issues such as depression, anxiety and even suicide are difficult but necessary. Even the strongest of the strongest are susceptible to the dark places of life. Call upon the Lord to help you find your way back. Don’t be afraid to cry out.
