There has been a major win for WA children and their families after the Minister for Child Protection made changes to a new scheme around working with children.
Opposition spokesperson on Child Protection, Nick Goiran, originally raised questions in Parliament about a ‘mysterious seven’ people who were to be granted ‘working with children’ cards, despite chequered histories.
"Credit where credit's due, it [the change] probably would not have been possible without the 6PR Mornings program," he told host Gary Adshead.
