John, Jamie, and Pat open the show talking about another bad Aaron Nola start, and John says if the Phillies miss the playoffs, it will be on Aaron Nola (0:00:00-0:23:04). Then they get into some weird fan behavior over the weekend, and Jamie asks if we would be happy if Jalen Hurts is Baker Mayfield (0:23:14-0:46:52). John opens the show reacting to the Eagles first preseason game of the 2021 season. He was very impressed with how well- coached and poised the Eagles looked. The guys also react to the Phillies win over the Dodgers yesterday (0:00-46:21). John wonders who is going to be the author of the Eagles 2021 season. Pat doesn’t believe the Phillies future includes Rhys Hoskins at DH. Bob has some questions about Miles Sanders. The guys debate what has been the most consistent thing this year for the Phillies (46:21-1:34:05). John points out some things that caught his attention from last night’s Eagles game. Bob saw something that made him almost throw up. The guys look ahead to this weekend’s Phillies/Reds series. Nick Sirianni’s had some comments about Jalen Hurts. Pat is ready for robot umpires (1:34:05-2:21:42). John wonders if anyone has changed their opinion on the Eagles after last night’s game. The show takes a look at the Braves schedule this week. Bob loved the Field of Dreams game last night (2:21:42-3:06:29).

Actor Joe Keery (Steve from Stranger Things) Joined Pat Egan from the John Kincade Show to discuss the new movie "Free Guy." Joe stars in the movie with Ryan Reynolds, and Taika Waititi. Joe discussed what attracted him to the movie, working with director Shawn Levy again (Stranger Things) throwing out the first pitch at the Phillies game and his word to describe the new season of Stranger Things.

The guys also discuss Kendrick Perkins “reporting” on Ben Simmons.  John wants to see more out of the Eagles starters tomorrow than we’re used to seeing in preseason football.
