There are going to be times in the life of every believer where one will be challenged to a duel of faith. In the midst of Esther’s challenge, she declared if I perish, I perish but I’m going to see the king. The question is, what will you do when confronted with adversity for such a time as this?

As people of God, we must understand that God is sovereign. He has his way in the situations that we as His children are confronted with and his providence, his sovereignty is always evident. It’s only in hindsight that we see that clearly, but it’s in present sight that we need to proclaim it. Know it or not, God is always moving, always working, always present. Let’s acknowledge his presence in our lives and in our affairs today as we study the book of Esther.
