Intuition and listening to that inner guidance just isn't something that we are taught.

We are taught to think. From the time we are born nearly, through education. Think. Your brain will have the answers. But, I dare ask what if that is wrong? What if we are ignoring our own inner gps? Our own fail safe inner navigation system?

I joined a Mastermind course and the prework is to tell a story from the 3rd person perspective. A story of self from birth to this exact moment. Then there is a fork in the road.

What do you do at that fork? Do you give up and give in and settle or do you live the dream?

I came back heavy hitting after a long break. I found a deep sense of burnout! So today I come in talking about the trauma I have experienced and how I have chosen to overcome it. Sometimes it takes leaving people you thought would be your 'ride or die' kind of family or friends.

The Universe isn't linear and doesn't always make sense. I am just here for the ride and to do better than those who came before me.

Going home to help split up an empire and see and end to a generation was so cathartic and healing despite the fact that I went kicking and screaming.

I walked into a situation that I was not sure that I was going to be welcomed or accepted by a large majority of the people. In the end all but a few proved what family means, or what I understood family to mean.
