This past Sunday, we were so excited to celebrate being back on campus as a church family to worship together and to welcome our new worship associate, Merritt Blackwell. He shares with us today more about his life so you can get to know him better, and encourages us with a reminder to continue to run the race that Christ has set before us.

Coronavirus concerns have been eclipsed by all the racial tension taking place in our country. Willie Brown joins us to share his thoughts and insights, and to remind us that we must cry out, humble ourselves, and ask God to show us our hearts.

The time has finally arrived and we are eager to welcome our church family back to campus in the next couple of weeks. Today, Michael shares with us what we can expect and encourages us with a reminder that God will always hold us fast.

It’s always fun to celebrate one of our own, and today we are enjoying a visit from Kristen Mullins who has been named Teacher of the Year at Eastside. We not only get to hear an update on family and school, but are blessed with a wonderful reminder to always offer grace to others.

While the church may have been closed, our Morrison Heights Preschool and Afterschool has stayed open in order to serve families in need of childcare. Mallory Cooley, Director, shares an update on all the happenings, and Tim encourages us to always walk closely with our one, true Friend.

We are looking forward to welcoming our church family back soon. Amber Cofer shares with us some of the plans being made to keep everyone safe and comfortable as well as remind us that God is here to do something greater!

Difficult times can make one wonder if God still really cares. Whitney Caves encourages us with a reminder that God cares for us personally, and that it is good to acknowledge the difficulty while staying focused on Christ.

With hope and encouragement, we are looking ahead with anticipation to the day we can gather back together. Dr. Greg shares a brief update on what church might look like when we return and reminds us that our priority in good times and bad is to be a worshipper of Christ.

Uncertain times are hard for everyone, but they can be especially hard on children. Kristie Dabbs shares today how she is loving and caring for her family and children during this time, and offers a word of encouragement by reminding us that we always have the comfort of the Holy Spirit.

Music plays an incredibly important role in the life of our church. Today, Kathy Langworthy shares with us how she is working, planning, and serving in our music department while we are unable to meet. She also shares a comforting reminder from Scripture and the ageless, wonderful hymn, “His Eye Is on the Sparrow.”
