We think of salvation as just an individual thing. What if God wants to save communities? And if so, how do we participate in that work?

Have you ever noticed that life is more complex than we wish it was? That we'd like things to be an A plus B equals C equation, but sometimes it feels like a lot more complicated than that. Exodus 5 and 6 begin to pull back the curtains and show us both the depths and complexity of reality, but more importantly, the God who stands behind it and with us.

God is always at work in our lives and in the world. And God is always inviting us to join Him in what He is doing. So, what keeps us from responding to His invitation? What gets in our way? And how can we become free to say, “Yes?” Let’s consider those questions and the answer this Sunday as we gather for worship.

Moses felt disorientation about his identity. But that disorientation somehow drove him to the mountain of God. In a world that feels at times very disorienting, how do we allow that uncomfortable feeling to move us towards God's kingdom?
