For we do not have a high priest who is unable

to sympathize with our weaknesses...

Let us therefore approach the throne of grace

with boldness, so that we may receive mercy

and find grace to help in time of need.

that support the root, but the
root that supports you.

I was suddenly overwhelmed with the realization that I loved all these people.
That they were mine and I theirs.
That we could not be alien to one another even though we were total strangers.
It was like waking from a dream of separateness of spurious self-isolation in a special world.
This sense of liberation from an illusory difference was such a relief and such a joy to me that I almost laughed out loud.

The same Lord is Lord of all and is generous

to all who call on him.

For, "Everyone who calls on the name

of the Lord shall be saved."
