Acts 10:1-48 --

God continues to expand the scope of his church through Peter's encounter with Cornelius, a Roman commander. Here we see the Holy Spirit at work in anyone who has ears to hear the good news of Jesus

Acts 9:1-22 --

Saul continues to actively persecute the church. On the road to Damascus, God meets Saul and gives him the Holy Spirit.

Acts 8:26-40 --

After Stephen's death, Philip travels down to the desert road in response to God's call. There he meets an Ethiopian Eunuch, who then believes and is baptized.

Acts 7:1-60 --

Stephen, a servant chosen to help care for the community, responds to the charges of blasphemy. In tracing out God's story of redemption, he calls the religious leaders to repent and see how God works ultimately through His Son.

Acts 4:1-22 --

When confronted by religious leaders, Peter and John look to the reality of Jesus' death and resurrection for hope and power to speak boldly.

Acts 2:42-47 --

As the church community begins to grow, they share in life in an intentional and sacrificial way.

Acts 2:14-41 --

The Holy Spirit is poured out on the Apostles, and Peter gives a speech on the fulfillment of God's plan. Peter invites those who are listening to repent and believe, that they too can be empowered by the Spirit to be a part of God's plan for the world.

Acts 1:1-11 --

As the disciples watch Jesus ascend into heaven, they receive words of assurance from two messengers: Jesus will soon return the way he came.
