Tonight is a very special episode of Moshing to Mozart: We have our first guest, Velda Cardwell, the mastermind behind Lunarmansy, and a participant in the leftist metal scene’s efforts to help out with the resurgence of Black Lives Matter. We talk about how production can make or break an album, which Morbid Angel album is our favorite, and the impact and history of policing in poor and minority communities, as well as the more current topic of the protests over the murder of George Floyd. In this episode we discuss racism and police brutality, as well as briefly touching on sexual assault. If these topics are too much for you, then maybe skip this one.
