We describe a simple puzzle involving a mosquito and two trains. We were introduced to this puzzle during placement interviews at an engineering #institute. Given how extensively engineering students gets exposed to #mathematics, most end up overthinking and complicating a simple situation. This simple puzzle is one such example where many candidates with mathematics background end up overthinking when the puzzle can be solved without use of a pen and a paper.
