From Crime to Christ, and back and forth several times

Sorry to say this book wasn't anything like I was expecting. A clear example of someone who thinks he has something to say, but has no writing skills to say it. This book doesn't seem to be a life miraculously changed. The book is a series of short journal entries going back and forth from proclaiming victory in Christ to using cocaine and sex, with several prison term gaps in the middle. I pray Raymon's last victory will be enduring, and appreciate that he wants to help others, but I can't recommend this book to anyone.

Rollercoaster ride to triumphant and encouraging end.

I really enjoyed this audio book. Lots of content to make you think and yes the author was very honest about his sin and not embarrassed to talk about his return to a life dominated by sin. His journey should help you understand the journey that so many of us have seen friends and loved ones take and hopefully this will help you understand their situation better through the lens of this story. The triumphant end to a life dominated by sin makes this an encouraging end to the rollercoaster ride from the beginning.

Four Stars

The book was very profound, honest telling of his life to get back on track and find God.
