God lead me to read this book for such a time as this in my life. New areas of healing have formed because this writing has open my eyes and blessed me. A Loving & Necessary Guide

On day one Ms. Terry states, "Even though we're praying for the abortion epidemic to cease worldwide, let us do so with loving and compassionate attitudes." That sums up this prayer guide pretty thoroughly. She takes us into the root causes and shows us many struggles that girls and women face in today's cultures worldwide. Each day begins with a brief 1 or 1-1/2 page discussion of the prayer we'll be led through on that particular day and is followed by several prayer points. At the end of many days, she gives suggested additional reading lists for those struggling to understand various aspects. I thought going into this book that I knew a lot; I discovered I knew very little. One aspect that had never occurred to me before is how a sibling might react to the knowledge that their mom ever had an abortion. It's not easy reading at times, but as with Alana Terry's other prayer guides, I believe this one too should be on every Christian's required reading list. And on the list of anyone considering abortion as a viable option. I strongly recommend this book as well as the other three prayer guides she has published. It helps to bring focus on the needs of so many women and men who are affected or who may become affected by an abortion.

30 Days of Prayer to End Abortion by Alana Terry is a call to prayer for those who are pro-life or are seeking to understand better the issues abortion raises. It is a book that addresses abortion as a social issue and the devastating effects it has on its victims both mother and child. Within 30 days, Ms. Terry provides a daily reading, scripture and specific prayer points. The most beautiful part of this book is that it is not done in a condemning manner at all!!! It is done with love, compassion and understanding backed by scripture. It is a powerful read in a small package.
