Disappointed

I was really looking forward to reading these novels. Turned out I couldn't wait to finish. Hoping that the story would get better but unfortunately it never did. I don't think I want to see the phrases "keep you safe, keep me safe, do you trust me" ever again. It seemed to have made up at least 40% of the words in the book. Very repetitive wording throughout the stories... even during the "steamy scenes". Hopefully the writing will get or has gotten better. Wishing the author much success.

Strong Love

I first must say I have already read each book in the series. I enjoyed re-read them again.

This is a must read series. This is a story about trusting someone completely and love unconditionally.

Mafia

Good read mafia style the chemistry between Nico and Eve is everything.

There's a lot of action plenty of sex and the thrill of being on the run from your mafia family.

Broken Lyric by RB Hilliard a breath-taking five star read. This has been the hardest review I have ever written, itâs taken me days as I donât think I can do the book justice with my words. RB Hilliard has out done herself with this second book in the Meltdown series, and I am not ashamed to admit that I am a Meltie. This is my all-time favourite RB Hillard book, I am a die-hard MMG series fan but Nash Bostwick has stolen my heart, and ran away with it.

Nash Bostwick is the lead guitarist of world famous band Meltdown, he has been there from the start, he has had his fair share of trouble like the rest of the band but sadly for Nash his is really just starting, Nashâs mum has faced the big C before and now faces it again, she has her nurse Rowan and thatâs the only reason Nash feels he can leave his mum while he goes on tour, as he knows Rowan, not in the way he would like, but he feels strongly for her. But sadly, sometimes feelings arenât enough.

Rowan Burns is a good nurse, and she would do anything for her patient Maeve and even though she thinks Nash is possibly the hottest man alive, (Who wouldnât) she canât admit her feelings as she has a secret that would bring her world crashing around her ears. When Roses start appearing whose secrets are coming out, hers or Nashâs?

This story will have you gripped from the beginning to the very last page, I sobbed my heart out when it was over. I couldnât believe that I would have to wait for more Meltdown!! You get sucked into the world. If you buy one book this year, make it a RB Hilliard, possibly Fractured beat, as they you would have to buy this book, as you wonât be able to not when you get sucked into the Meltdown world.

I Loved this Emotional Ride through Loss and Grief, Fear and Angst, the many Facets of Love.

Nash Bostwick has left me clutching my heart and has earned 5 amazing stars from me. The man just has everything you could possibly want or need in a strong yet soft alpha lead. I had shivers while he sang the words he had penned for Rowan, the words that only flowed when his emotions of grief, fear and love all collided. Something about a man strumming a guitar while vocalizing his feelings just opens my heart, puts a lump in my throat, and starts my the flow of my own emotions.

Jean did it again

Steph was one of my favorite characters in previous books. It's great that she gets her HEA. Gavin is determined and hard headed, which is what an equally determined and hard headed woman needs.

Light to my darkness

James n Penny Hunter are happy n mysterious, sexy and full of life expecting there second child n arguing/betting about sex of baby. Penny is feeling like her life doesnât matter as a wife/mother cause she bring nothing as she keeps getting rejection letters regarding her book. James has a huge surprise n canât wait to let Penny know.

Scarlett their daughter is holding a secret that could change their lives but she been sworn to keep it a secret n she afraid to tell. As always danger is around the corner to threaten their happiness. Letâs hope all is unveiled in time to save their happy family before James snaps back to his addiction n addicted behavior.

The best book I have read in a long timr

Omg. I cannot believe how great this book was. When I saw that Ms Smoak wrote more Penny and James. I was thrilled. This book exceeded my expectations. It is beautifully written and has such a great mix of love, laughter romance, friendship and conflict and drama. And believe me this is not your typical drama such as old lover enters the picture. It is so much better than that. This is a sure winner if you have not met Penny and James yet you need to get book one and start toe. You will not be disappointed.

Happiness?

Penny and James are on their second child and life seems to be blissfully amazing. But something is very wrong with Penny's pregnancy and she is beginning to feel like something is very wrong with her. Can they survive this latest drama?

I am so upset with the cliffhanger ugh...I so wanted to know what happened. I cannot wait for the next book!

Wonderful free spirited lead will warm your heart!

You cannot go wrong with a Debbie Mason audiobook. They have everything I want in a good book - great secondary characters, lots of humor, a little mystery and intrigue, and relatively clean romances. Sugarplum Way is no exception. Its a story about how it never hurts to lose sight of ones dreams. It is the fourth book in the Harmony Harbor series, which focuses on the residents of a small New England town and in particular, those associated with the Gallagher family.

The heroine of this story is the likable and free-spirited Julia Landon. She is the owner of Harmony Harbors bookstore who is secretly moonlighting as a romance writer. She is also the self-appointed guardian angel of the Gallagher family because she knows who killed Mrs. Gallagher and her daughter by a hit and run car accident several years ago. Julias character is simply wonderful as she frequently forgets about water boiling or cookies in the oven when she is engrossed in writing her new novel, necessitating a visit by the local fire squad.

Julias love interest is the recently divorced Aidan Gallagher who doesnt trust Julia for any number of reasons, the least of which is she is always meddling in Gallagher affairs. Plus, hes sworn off relationships because wants to be the best single dad ever. After he finds out Julia wrote him into her latest novel, he can't help but be attracted to her. Although there is definitely sexual tension between the two of them, I really love how the couple never actually hook up until the end of the story, and when they do, it is all very behind closed doors.

Becket Royce did a fantastic job narrating this audiobook. She provided differing voices for all of the female and male leads, as well as appropriate voices for the children in the book. Her style is very natural with smooth overtones and subtle character nuances. I was totally immersed when listening to her narration and I felt like I was watching a movie from the Hallmark Channel. I certainly look forward to listening to the next book written by Debbie Mason and narrated by Beckett Royce!

Favorite so far

This book/audio book is my favorite so far of the Harmony Harbor series. It might be because it is set at Christmas, but isn't your typical Christmas romance book.

Mattie & Julians love story

The author has written the back story for Matthew & Julian, who have been featured all along in the series. It is a romance with a HEA, but with MM, not the usual MF.

Evans & Casteri handle the narration well with an Aussie accent.

Better than Reading it <3

Im not one to go out & purposely buy a M/M book , i have done in Series that i love as its part of the series .. but Lila Rose did a Fantastic job on writing this book , i had already loved Julian & his Histerical ways but even more so after this book was written , Julian was Mattys firsts in all ways which was sweet but its just the way the whole book is written .. you laughed, cried , was thinking wholely christ at some parts , WThells ... Just loved this book & it was Awesome to Listen to it the second time round . <3 :-) Its a must have . Hope Lila puts more of her books to Audio .. Ill certainly Buy .

Cute

I liked it in general, although it had a few things that didnt convince me entirely. First, I would've liked a dual narrator, because sometimes I didnt know if it was Julien or Mattie talking. Second, it was a little bit chicks-with-dicks. And third, why did both of them acted like teenagers when one was supposed to be 36? Actually, there were parts in which the 19-year-old sounded more mature.

Either way, it was a sweet story. I mostly enjoyed it.

Coming out?

I'm not sure what to say about this book. Overall it was alright. It might have been better if I had some back story from the other books in the series (but I have NOT read them). You wont be totally lost just reading/listening to this one. But there were a few places I was confused, some characters are brought up that don't make a lot of sense. Especially the Epilogue, it was a lot of info that wasn't included in this book so I'm not sure why it was added.. Anyways....

The Audio is Great!!! I could seriously listen to this Narrator All day long. I love his voice. He could read the phone book and I would be happy to listen to him.. LOL.

I'll be the first to admit that a lot of the things in this book didn't make sense, but you know what, that's what guilty pleasure is all about.
